Miriam's Letters (miriamsletters.com) -We respect the privacy of every reader. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

Assessment answers — your responses to our questions, used solely to prepare your reading.

Contact details — your first name, email address, and, if you choose to provide it, your phone number, used to deliver your readings and the clinician's answer. With your consent, your number is used to send correspondence by SMS — reply STOP anytime; never shared for marketing.

Questions and messages — what you send us through our forms, used to respond to you.

Website usage data — information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Pixels

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure the performance of our pages and advertising. These tools may collect your device information, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken (such as submitting a form). We do not transmit your assessment answers, questions, or any health-related information through these tools. You can limit this collection through your browser's cookie settings and through Meta's ad preferences at facebook.com/ad preferences. How We Use It

Your information is used to prepare and deliver your readings, answer your questions, and send you the correspondence you have requested. We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the service providers described below.

Who Sees It

Your submissions are seen by a Clinician and the small team that prepares your correspondence. Our forms, hosting, and email delivery are processed by service providers (including our website and marketing platform) under their own security safeguards, solely to operate this service on our behalf.

How Long We Keep It

We retain your assessment answers and correspondence for up to 7 years after your last interaction with us, and your email contact information until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Records may be kept longer where the law requires it. Anonymized/de-identified data can be kept forever regardless — add we may retain de-identified data indefinitely and both needs are covered.

Private & Confidential

Confidentiality is a founding principle of this house. Your answers and questions are treated as private correspondence. Please note that our readings are educational, not clinical; they are not medical records, and website confidentiality is not the same as the legal privilege attached to a clinician–patient relationship.

Your Privacy Rights

You may unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing clara@miriamsletters.com.

California residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To the extent our use of advertising pixels constitutes "sharing" under the CPRA, you may opt out by emailing clara@miriamsletters.com with the subject line "Do Not Share My Information," or through your browser's Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor. We will verify and respond to requests within the time required by law.

Nevada residents: you may direct us not to sell your covered information by emailing clara@miriamsletters.com. We do not currently sell covered information as defined by Nevada law.

Children

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version.
